Air Fryer Salmon

Air frying salmon is a quick and easy way to prepare a delicious and healthy meal. Here’s a simple recipe for air fryer salmon:

Ingredients:

  • Salmon fillets
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Lemon wedges (optional)
  • Fresh herbs (such as dill or parsley), chopped (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the Salmon: Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel. This helps the salmon crisp up in the air fryer.
  3. Season the Salmon: Brush the salmon fillets with olive oil, ensuring they are well-coated on both sides. Season the fillets with salt and pepper to taste. You can also add other seasonings like garlic powder, paprika, or your favorite herbs for extra flavor.
  4. Place in the Air Fryer: Arrange the seasoned salmon fillets in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Make sure there is some space between the fillets for air circulation.
  5. Air Fry: Cook the salmon in the preheated air fryer for about 10-12 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillets. Check for doneness by inserting a fork into the thickest part of the salmon – it should flake easily.
  6. Serve: Once the salmon is cooked, carefully remove it from the air fryer. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the fillets and sprinkle with chopped fresh herbs, if desired.
  7. Optional Broiling (for Crispiness): If you want the top of the salmon to be a bit more crispy, you can place it under the broiler for 1-2 minutes after air frying. Keep a close eye on it to prevent burning.
  8. Serve Immediately: Serve the air-fried salmon hot with your favorite side dishes. It pairs well with steamed vegetables, rice, or a fresh salad.

Adjust the cooking time based on the size and thickness of your salmon fillets. Always ensure that the salmon reaches a safe internal temperature of 145°F (63°C). Enjoy your delicious and perfectly cooked air fryer salmon!
