Air Fryer Honey Butter Garlic Chicken Tenders

Here’s a delicious recipe for Air Fryer Honey Butter Garlic Chicken Tenders:

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb chicken tenders (or chicken breast cut into strips)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme (optional)
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish, optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the chicken:

    • Pat the chicken tenders dry with paper towels.
    • Season the chicken tenders with salt, pepper, and paprika (if using).
  2. Make the honey butter garlic sauce:

    • In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
    • Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
    • Remove from heat and stir in honey, salt, pepper, and thyme (if using). Mix until fully combined.
  3. Coat the chicken:

    • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
    • Dip each chicken tender into the honey butter garlic mixture, making sure to coat it well.
  4. Air fry the chicken tenders:

    • Place the coated chicken tenders in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure not to overcrowd.
    • Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 75°C).
  5. Serve:

    • Once the chicken tenders are done, drizzle any remaining honey butter garlic sauce over the top.
    • Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
