Air fryer Cheesecakes

Posted on September 14, 2023
Air fryer cheesecakes are a delicious and convenient way to make individual-sized cheesecakes with a crispy crust and creamy filling. Here’s a basic recipe for making air fryer cheesecakes:Ingredients:

For the crust:

  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter

For the filling:

  • 16 ounces (2 packages) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • Optional toppings (e.g., fruit preserves, chocolate chips, whipped cream)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Crust:
    • In a bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter.
    • Mix until the crumbs are evenly coated with the butter.
  2. Preheat the Air Fryer:
    • Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C) for about 5 minutes.
  3. Prepare the Cheesecake Mixture:
    • In a separate mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
    • Add the granulated sugar and mix until well combined.
    • Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
    • Stir in the vanilla extract and sour cream, mixing until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  4. Assemble the Cheesecakes:
    • Divide the graham cracker crust mixture evenly among individual ramekins or silicone cupcake liners.
    • Press the crust mixture down firmly to create the crust.
  5. Pour in the Cheesecake Filling:
    • Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust in each ramekin or liner, filling them almost to the top.
  6. Cook in the Air Fryer:
    • Place the ramekins or cupcake liners in the preheated air fryer basket.
    • Cook at 320°F (160°C) for about 12-15 minutes or until the cheesecakes are set but still slightly jiggly in the center. Cooking time may vary depending on the air fryer model, so keep an eye on them.
  7. Cool and Chill:
    • Remove the cheesecakes from the air fryer and let them cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
    • Refrigerate the cheesecakes for at least 2 hours or until they are thoroughly chilled and set.
  8. Serve and Enjoy:
    • Once chilled, remove the cheesecakes from the ramekins or liners.
    • You can add your favorite toppings like fruit preserves, chocolate chips, or whipped cream before serving.

Air fryer cheesecakes are a delightful treat that can be customized with various toppings and flavors to suit your preferences. Experiment with different crusts, fillings, and toppings to create your own unique variations.
