Certainly! Here’s a simple recipe for making baked potatoes in an air fryer:

Ingredients:

  • Russet potatoes (or any other baking potatoes)
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Toppings of your choice (such as sour cream, chives, cheese, bacon bits)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare the Potatoes:
    • Wash and scrub the potatoes thoroughly. Pat them dry with a paper towel.
    • Prick the potatoes with a fork in several places. This helps steam escape during cooking.
  3. Coat with Olive Oil and Salt:
    • Lightly coat each potato with olive oil. You can do this by brushing the oil on or by tossing the potatoes in a bowl with oil.
    • Sprinkle each potato with salt, ensuring an even coating.
  4. Air Fry the Potatoes:
    • Place the potatoes in the air fryer basket in a single layer. If you have smaller potatoes, you can cook multiple at once.
    • Cook for about 35-45 minutes, depending on the size of the potatoes. Flip the potatoes halfway through the cooking time to ensure even cooking.
  5. Check for Doneness:
    • Pierce the potatoes with a fork or knife to check if they are tender on the inside. The fork should easily go through the potato.
  6. Serve and Add Toppings:
    • Once the potatoes are done, let them cool for a few minutes before handling.
    • Slice each potato open, fluff the insides with a fork, and add your favorite toppings. Common choices include sour cream, chives, cheese, bacon bits, or any other toppings you like.
  7. Enjoy! Serve the air fryer baked potatoes immediately while they’re hot. They make a delicious and easy side dish.
