  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter, divided
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

For the icing:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1-2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the Bisquick baking mix and milk. Stir until a soft dough forms.
  3. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead it about 10 times. Roll the dough into a rectangle, approximately 9×12 inches.
  4. Brush the rolled-out dough with 2 tablespoons of melted butter.
  5. In a small bowl, mix together the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the buttered dough.
  6. Starting from one of the longer sides, roll the dough into a log. Slice the log into 12 equal pieces.
  7. Place the slices in a greased baking dish, leaving a little space between each roll.
  8. Brush the tops of the rolls with the remaining 1 tablespoon of melted butter.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the rolls are golden brown.
  10. While the rolls are baking, prepare the icing by whisking together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  11. Once the cinnamon rolls are out of the oven, drizzle the icing over the top while they are still warm.
  12. Serve and enjoy your delicious Bisquick cinnamon rolls!
