Certainly! Here’s a simple recipe for making flatbread:

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, salt, and baking powder.
  2. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and pour in the warm water and olive oil.
  3. Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
  5. Divide the dough into golf ball-sized portions.
  6. Roll each portion into a ball and then roll it out into a flat, round shape. You can use a rolling pin for this step.
  7. Heat a non-stick pan or griddle over medium-high heat.
  8. Place the rolled-out flatbread onto the hot pan and cook for 1-2 minutes on each side or until you see bubbles forming and the bread is golden brown.
  9. Remove from the pan and repeat the process with the remaining portions of dough.
  10. Optionally, you can brush the flatbreads with a little olive oil or melted butter for added flavor.

Your homemade flatbread is ready to be enjoyed! You can serve it with dips, use it as a wrap, or enjoy it alongside your favorite dishes. Feel free to get creative with herbs or other seasonings to customize the flavor to your liking.
