Crispy Parmesan Asparagus Sticks

Here’s a simple and delicious recipe for Crispy Parmesan Asparagus Sticks – perfect as a snack, side, or appetizer!


🧄 Crispy Parmesan Asparagus Sticks

Ingredients:

  • 1 bunch fresh asparagus (trim tough ends)

  • 2 large eggs

  • ½ cup all-purpose flour (or almond flour for low carb)

  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs (or crushed pork rinds for keto)

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp paprika

  • Salt & pepper, to taste

  • Cooking spray or olive oil


Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven:

    • To 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil and lightly grease.

  2. Set Up Dredging Station:

    • Bowl 1: Flour + garlic powder + paprika + a pinch of salt & pepper.

    • Bowl 2: Lightly beaten eggs.

    • Bowl 3: Panko + Parmesan cheese.

  3. Coat the Asparagus:

    • Dip each spear in flour, then egg, then the Parmesan breadcrumb mix. Press gently to coat well.

  4. Bake:

    • Arrange spears in a single layer on the baking sheet. Lightly spray with oil for extra crispiness.

    • Bake 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
