Certainly! Here’s a simple and delicious recipe for tender beef that you can make in just a few minutes:

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound of beef (you can use sirloin, flank, or any other tender cut)
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon of ginger, minced (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon of cornstarch (optional, for thickening the sauce)
  • Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)
  • Cooked rice or noodles for serving

Instructions:

  1. Slice the beef: Cut the beef into thin slices against the grain. This helps to ensure tenderness.
  2. Marinate the beef: In a bowl, mix together the soy sauce, minced garlic, minced ginger (if using), olive oil, salt, and pepper. Add the beef slices to the bowl and toss to coat them evenly in the marinade. Let the beef marinate for at least 10-15 minutes. This allows the flavors to infuse into the meat.
  3. Heat the pan: Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Once hot, add a little olive oil to coat the bottom of the pan.
  4. Cook the beef: Add the marinated beef slices to the hot skillet in a single layer, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Cook the beef for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until it is browned and cooked to your desired level of doneness. You may need to cook the beef in batches depending on the size of your skillet.
  5. Thicken the sauce (optional): If you prefer a thicker sauce, mix the cornstarch with a tablespoon of water to create a slurry. Pour the slurry into the skillet with the cooked beef and stir well. Allow the sauce to simmer for a minute or two until it thickens.
  6. Serve: Once the beef is cooked to your liking, remove it from the heat. Garnish with chopped green onions if desired. Serve the tender beef hot over cooked rice or noodles.
