Here’s a delicious Sweet and Spicy Garlic Steak Pasta recipe — a perfect blend of savory, heat, and a touch of sweetness:


Sweet and Spicy Garlic Steak Pasta

🥩 Ingredients:

For the Steak:

  • 1 lb (450g) sirloin or ribeye steak, thinly sliced

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp brown sugar

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes

  • Salt & pepper to taste

For the Pasta and Sauce:

  • 8 oz (225g) fettuccine or spaghetti

  • 3 tbsp butter

  • 5–6 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1/2 tsp chili flakes (adjust to taste)

  • 1/4 cup honey

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp sriracha (optional for extra spice)

  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan (optional)

  • Chopped green onions or parsley (for garnish)


🔥 Instructions:

  1. Cook the Pasta:

    • Boil salted water and cook pasta until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain.

  2. Marinate the Steak:

    • In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, olive oil, crushed red pepper, salt, and pepper.

    • Toss sliced steak in marinade. Let sit for at least 10–15 minutes.

  3. Sear the Steak:

    • Heat a skillet over medium-high. Sear steak slices 2–3 minutes per side until caramelized and cooked to desired doneness. Set aside.

  4. Make the Sauce:

    • In the same pan, reduce heat to medium. Add butter and garlic, sauté until fragrant (about 1 min).

    • Stir in chili flakes, honey, soy sauce, and sriracha. Simmer until slightly thickened (2–3 min).

  5. Combine:

    • Add cooked pasta to the sauce, toss to coat. Use reserved pasta water to loosen if needed.

    • Return steak to the pan, mix well. Sprinkle with Parmesan if using.

  6. Serve:

    • Garnish with green onions or parsley.

    • Serve hot with garlic bread or a crisp salad.
