Here’s a simple slow-cooker barbecue ribs recipe:
Ingredients:
- 2 racks of baby back ribs
- 1 cup of your favorite barbecue sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions:
- Start by preparing the ribs. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs if it’s still attached. Pat the ribs dry with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper to create a dry rub.
- Rub the dry rub mixture all over the ribs, coating them evenly on both sides.
- Pour half of the barbecue sauce into the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Place the ribs in the slow cooker, standing them up against the walls of the slow cooker with the meaty side facing outward.
- Pour the remaining barbecue sauce over the top of the ribs, covering them completely.
- Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or until the ribs are tender and cooked through.
- Once the ribs are done cooking, carefully remove them from the slow cooker and place them on a serving platter.
- Optionally, you can brush the ribs with additional barbecue sauce before serving.
- Serve the ribs hot, and enjoy!
This recipe should result in deliciously tender and flavorful barbecue ribs with minimal effort. Enjoy!
