Sauteed Shrimp with Spinach

Here’s a quick and flavorful Sautéed Shrimp with Spinach recipe — perfect for a light meal or a protein-packed side:


🦐 Sautéed Shrimp with Spinach

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb (450g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 3 cups fresh spinach (loosely packed)

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest

  • Juice of half a lemon

  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Grated Parmesan (optional, for topping)


Instructions:

  1. Prep Shrimp:
    Pat shrimp dry and season lightly with salt and pepper.

  2. Cook Shrimp:
    In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon olive oil over medium-high heat.
    Add shrimp and cook 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.

  3. Sauté Garlic & Spinach:
    In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of oil.
    Add garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté 30 seconds until fragrant.
    Toss in spinach and sauté for 1–2 minutes until just wilted.

  4. Combine:
    Return shrimp to the pan. Add lemon zest and juice. Toss everything together for 1 minute to warm through.

  5. Serve:
    Plate with extra lemon wedges and a sprinkle of Parmesan if desired.
