Sausage Cream Cheese Crescents

Sausage cream cheese crescents are a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer or snack. Here’s a simple recipe for you:

Ingredients:

  • 1 package of refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 pound ground sausage (you can use pork, turkey, or a meat substitute)
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to the temperature specified on the crescent roll package.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground sausage until browned and fully cooked. Break it into crumbles as it cooks. Drain any excess fat.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, cooked sausage, chopped green onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly combined.
  4. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles.
  5. Place a spoonful of the sausage and cream cheese mixture onto the wide end of each crescent triangle.
  6. Roll up each crescent, starting from the wide end, to form a crescent shape. Make sure the filling is securely enclosed.
  7. Place the rolled crescents on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake according to the instructions on the crescent roll package or until the crescents are golden brown.
  9. Allow the sausage cream cheese crescents to cool for a few minutes before serving.
