Salted Caramel Chocolate Chip Cookies

Posted on July 3, 2025 by admin

Here’s a rich and chewy Salted Caramel Chocolate Chip Cookies recipe—perfectly sweet with a touch of sea salt and gooey caramel centers:

Salted Caramel Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (226g) unsalted butter, softened

  • 1 cup (200g) brown sugar, packed

  • ½ cup (100g) granulated sugar

  • 2 large eggs

  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 2¾ cups (345g) all-purpose flour

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • ½ tsp baking powder

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • 20–24 soft caramel candies (unwrapped)

  • Flaky sea salt, for topping

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.

  2. Cream butter and sugars in a large bowl until light and fluffy (2–3 minutes).

  3. Add eggs and vanilla, beat until combined.

  4. In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Gradually mix into wet ingredients.

  5. Stir in chocolate chips.

  6. Scoop dough (about 2 tablespoons) and flatten slightly. Place a caramel candy in the center and fold the dough around it, sealing well.

  7. Place on baking sheet, leaving space between each. Sprinkle a pinch of flaky sea salt on top.

  8. Bake for 10–12 minutes or until edges are golden but centers are still soft.

  9. Let cool on the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
