RICE KRISPIE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

Here’s a fun and crispy twist on a classic cookie: Rice Krispie Chocolate Chip Cookies! They’re chewy, crispy, and loaded with chocolate—perfect for kids and adults alike.


🍪 Rice Krispie Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened

  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

  • 2 eggs

  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 2 cups Rice Krispies cereal

  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk)

  • Optional: 1/2 cup chopped nuts or mini marshmallows


Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.

  2. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugars together until light and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes).

  3. Add eggs and vanilla extract; beat until well combined.

  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add dry mixture to the wet ingredients and mix until combined.

  5. Fold in the chocolate chips, then gently mix in the Rice Krispies (and nuts or marshmallows if using).

  6. Scoop dough by tablespoons (or use a cookie scoop) onto prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

  7. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the edges are golden and centers are set but soft.

  8. Let cookies cool on the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
