Pecan Cheesecake Pie

Pecan Cheesecake Pie is a delightful dessert that combines the rich and creamy texture of cheesecake with the nutty flavor of pecan pie. Here’s a basic recipe for you to try:

Ingredients:

For the crust:

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

For the cheesecake filling:

  • 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the pecan pie topping:

  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup corn syrup
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven:

Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).

2. Prepare the crust:

  • In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar.
  • Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch pie dish to form the crust.
  • Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then remove it from the oven and let it cool.

3. Make the cheesecake filling:

  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  • Add the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract, and continue to beat until well combined.
  • Pour the cheesecake filling over the cooled crust.

4. Prepare the pecan pie topping:

  • In a separate bowl, mix together the chopped pecans, brown sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
  • Spoon the pecan mixture evenly over the cheesecake filling.

5. Bake:

  • Bake the pie in the preheated oven for about 40-45 minutes or until the center is set.
  • Allow the pie to cool completely before refrigerating for at least 4 hours or overnight.

6. Serve:

  • Once chilled, slice and serve your Pecan Cheesecake Pie.
  • Optionally, you can garnish with whipped cream or a drizzle of caramel sauce.
