Here’s a simple recipe for a No-Bake Nescafé Pudding that’s easy to make and doesn’t require an oven:

Ingredients:

  • 1 packet of Nescafé instant coffee (or 1-2 teaspoons of instant coffee granules)
  • 2 cups milk (whole milk or any milk of your choice)
  • 2 tablespoons sugar (adjust based on your sweetness preference)
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch (for thickening)
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional for flavor)
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream (optional, for extra creaminess)
  • Whipped cream or chocolate shavings for topping (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Dissolve the Coffee:
    • In a small bowl, dissolve the Nescafé instant coffee in a few tablespoons of hot water (about 2-3 tablespoons). Stir well and set aside to cool.
  2. Prepare the Pudding Base:
    • In a saucepan, combine the milk, sugar, and cornstarch. Whisk together until smooth.
    • Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring it to a gentle simmer. Keep stirring constantly to prevent lumps and to ensure the cornstarch dissolves fully.
  3. Add Coffee Flavor:
    • Once the mixture thickens to a custard-like consistency (about 5-7 minutes), remove it from heat.
    • Stir in the dissolved Nescafé coffee and vanilla extract (if using). If you want the pudding extra creamy, you can also mix in the heavy cream at this point.
  4. Cool the Pudding:
    • Pour the pudding mixture into serving cups or bowls.
    • Allow it to cool to room temperature for about 15 minutes, then transfer it to the refrigerator. Chill for at least 2 hours to set properly.
  5. Serve:
    • Once chilled and set, top the pudding with whipped cream or chocolate shavings if desired.
