No-Bake Banana Flan Recipe

Here’s a simple and delicious recipe for No-Bake Banana Flan:

Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup sugar (for caramel sauce)
  • 1/4 cup water (for caramel sauce)

Instructions:

For the Caramel:

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the sugar and water over medium heat.
  2. Stir constantly until the sugar has dissolved and the mixture starts to bubble.
  3. Allow it to cook without stirring until the caramel turns golden brown (about 8-10 minutes).
  4. Carefully pour the caramel into the bottom of a round flan dish or pie dish, swirling it around to coat the bottom evenly. Set aside to cool.

For the Flan:

  1. In a blender, combine the ripe bananas, sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, vanilla extract, and cornstarch.
  2. Blend until smooth and well combined.
  3. Pour the mixture into the caramel-coated dish.
  4. Cover the dish with plastic wrap or foil and refrigerate for at least 4-6 hours or until set. Overnight is best.

To Serve:

  1. Once the flan is chilled and set, run a knife around the edge of the dish to loosen the flan.
  2. Carefully invert the dish onto a plate. The caramel should flow over the top of the flan.
  3. Slice and enjoy your creamy, banana-flavored flan!

This no-bake version is easy to prepare and perfect for a sweet treat.
