Million Dollar Ravioli Casserole

Here’s a delicious recipe for Million Dollar Ravioli Casserole that’s sure to impress! It combines layers of ravioli, cheese, and a rich sauce for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 package (25 oz) frozen cheese ravioli
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare Cheese Mixture: In a bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Layer the Casserole:
    • Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish.
    • Add half of the frozen ravioli in a single layer.
    • Spoon half of the ricotta mixture over the ravioli and sprinkle with one cup of mozzarella cheese.
    • Add another layer of marinara sauce.
    • Repeat the layers with the remaining ravioli, ricotta mixture, and marinara sauce. Top with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  4. Bake: Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  5. Serve: Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh basil if desired.
