Marinated Air Fryer Salmon

Here’s a recipe for Marinated Air Fryer Salmon:

Ingredients:

  • 2 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • Fresh herbs (optional, for garnish)

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Marinade:

  • In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, honey (or maple syrup), minced garlic, Dijon mustard, black pepper, and paprika until well combined.

2. Marinate the Salmon:

  • Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish or resealable plastic bag.
  • Pour the marinade over the salmon, making sure each piece is well coated.
  • Seal the bag (or cover the dish) and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, up to 2 hours for more flavor.

3. Preheat the Air Fryer:

  • Set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and let it preheat for about 5 minutes.

4. Air Fry the Salmon:

  • Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking oil.
  • Place the marinated salmon fillets in the basket, skin-side down if applicable.
  • Cook for 8-10 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillets. The salmon should be opaque and flake easily with a fork.

5. Serve:

  • Remove the salmon from the air fryer and garnish with fresh herbs like parsley or dill if desired.
  • Serve immediately with your favorite side dishes like roasted veggies or rice.

Tips:

  • You can double the marinade ingredients if you’re cooking more fillets.
  • For extra crispness, lightly brush the salmon with olive oil before air frying.
