Lemon Cheesecake Brownies

Here’s a delicious Lemon Cheesecake Brownies recipe — a perfect combo of rich fudgy brownie and tangy, creamy lemon cheesecake:


🍋 Lemon Cheesecake Brownies

⭐ Ingredients:

For the Brownie Layer:

  • 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/3 cup (40g) unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1/2 cup (65g) all-purpose flour

  • 1/4 tsp salt

For the Lemon Cheesecake Layer:

  • 8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened

  • 1/3 cup (67g) granulated sugar

  • 1 large egg

  • 2 tbsp lemon juice (freshly squeezed)

  • 1 tbsp lemon zest

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract


🧁 Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

  2. Make the brownie layer:

    • In a bowl, whisk together melted butter and sugar.

    • Add eggs and vanilla, mix until glossy.

    • Sift in cocoa powder, flour, and salt. Stir until just combined.

    • Spread 2/3 of the brownie batter into the prepared pan.

  3. Make the lemon cheesecake layer:

    • In another bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.

    • Add sugar, egg, lemon juice, lemon zest, and vanilla. Beat until creamy.

    • Pour cheesecake layer over the brownie base.

  4. Add remaining brownie batter:

    • Dollop the remaining brownie batter on top and swirl gently with a knife or toothpick for a marbled effect.

  5. Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the center is set and edges are slightly golden.

  6. Cool completely, then chill in the fridge for at least 2 hours before cutting into squares.
