Here’s a recipe for a delicious King’s Hawaiian Cheesecake Danish. This treat combines the sweet and fluffy texture of King’s Hawaiian rolls with a rich cheesecake filling.

Ingredients:

For the Danish:

  • 1 package of King’s Hawaiian Sweet Rolls (12 rolls)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour

For the Glaze:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2-3 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the Rolls: Separate the King’s Hawaiian rolls and arrange them on the baking sheet. Use your fingers to gently press down the center of each roll to create a small well for the cheesecake filling.
  3. Make the Cheesecake Filling: In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add the granulated sugar, vanilla extract, egg, and flour, and mix until fully combined and creamy.
  4. Fill the Rolls: Spoon the cheesecake mixture into the well of each roll, filling it generously.
  5. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes, or until the edges of the rolls are golden brown and the cheesecake filling is set.
  6. Prepare the Glaze: While the danishes are baking, prepare the glaze. In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth. Adjust the consistency by adding more milk if needed.
  7. Glaze the Danishes: Once the danishes are out of the oven, allow them to cool for about 10 minutes. Drizzle the glaze over the warm danishes.
  8. Serve: Serve the cheesecake danishes warm or at room temperature. Enjoy!
