Keto Low Carb Cheesy Bread Recipe

Here’s a keto low-carb cheesy bread recipe that’s both delicious and low in carbohydrates. This recipe uses almond flour and mozzarella cheese as the main ingredients to create a cheesy, bread-like texture without traditional flour. It’s a great option for those following a keto or low-carb diet.Ingredients:

For the Bread:

  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 oz cream cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups almond flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried Italian seasoning (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Topping:

  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp dried Italian seasoning (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the mozzarella cheese and cream cheese. Heat the mixture in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval, until the cheeses are completely melted and well combined. This should take about 1-2 minutes.
  3. In a separate mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, baking powder, garlic powder, dried Italian seasoning (if using), salt, and pepper.
  4. Add the melted cheese mixture and the eggs to the dry ingredients. Mix everything together until a dough forms. You can use your hands or a mixer with a dough hook attachment.
  5. Place the dough on the prepared baking sheet and use your hands to flatten and shape it into a rectangle or oval shape, about 1/2-inch thick.
  6. Sprinkle the 1/2 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the top of the dough. Then, sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese and dried Italian seasoning (if using) over the mozzarella.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and slightly crispy on top.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Then, slice the cheesy bread into squares or strips.
  9. Serve your keto cheesy bread warm as a side dish, snack, or with your favorite dipping sauce, such as low-carb marinara or ranch dressing.
