🥩 Juicy Steak with Creamy Garlic Sauce Recipe

Ingredients:

For the Steak:

  • 2 ribeye or sirloin steaks (about 1–1.5 inches thick)

  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • 2 garlic cloves (crushed)

  • 1 sprig rosemary or thyme (optional)

For the Creamy Garlic Sauce:

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • 4–5 garlic cloves (minced)

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)


🔥 Instructions:

1. Prepare the Steaks:

  • Bring steaks to room temperature and pat them dry.

  • Season generously with salt and pepper on both sides.

2. Sear the Steaks:

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over high heat until hot and shimmering.

  • Add steaks and sear for about 3–4 minutes per side (for medium-rare), adjusting time to your preferred doneness.

  • During the last minute, add butter, garlic cloves, and herbs to the pan. Tilt and spoon the melted butter over the steak for extra flavor.

  • Remove steaks and rest under foil for 5–10 minutes.

3. Make the Garlic Cream Sauce:

  • In the same pan, reduce heat to medium. Add 1 tbsp butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant (1–2 minutes).

  • Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.

  • Stir in Parmesan cheese and cook for 2–3 minutes, until slightly thickened.

  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.

4. Serve:

  • Slice the rested steak and spoon the creamy garlic sauce over the top.

  • Garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
