Homemade Coffee Mousse

Certainly! Here’s a simple recipe for homemade coffee mousse:

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons instant coffee granules
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Cocoa powder or chocolate shavings for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a small bowl, dissolve the instant coffee granules in 2 tablespoons of warm water. Set aside to cool.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream with an electric mixer until soft peaks form.
  3. Gradually add the granulated sugar while continuing to whip the cream until it forms stiff peaks.
  4. Gently fold in the cooled coffee mixture and vanilla extract until well combined. Be careful not to deflate the whipped cream.
  5. Spoon the coffee mousse into serving glasses or bowls.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to allow the mousse to set.
  7. Before serving, garnish with cocoa powder or chocolate shavings if desired.
