Homemade Bread in Air Fryer

Making homemade bread in an air fryer is easy and quick. Here’s a simple recipe for making soft and delicious bread in your air fryer:

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp instant yeast
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup warm water (about 110°F)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or melted butter

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Dough:
    • In a large bowl, combine the flour, instant yeast, sugar, and salt.
    • Add the warm water and olive oil (or melted butter) to the dry ingredients.
    • Stir with a spoon until a dough forms. If the dough feels too sticky, add a little more flour until it comes together.
  2. Knead the Dough:
    • Transfer the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until the dough becomes smooth and elastic.
  3. Let the Dough Rise:
    • Place the dough back into the bowl, cover it with a damp towel or plastic wrap, and let it rise for about 1 hour, or until it doubles in size.
  4. Shape the Dough:
    • Once the dough has risen, punch it down to release the air.
    • Shape it into a round or oval loaf, or divide it into smaller rolls, depending on your preference.
  5. Preheat the Air Fryer:
    • Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
  6. Cook the Bread:
    • Lightly grease the air fryer basket or line it with parchment paper.
    • Place the dough in the basket, ensuring there’s some space around the bread for air circulation.
    • Air fry at 350°F (175°C) for about 15-20 minutes for a small loaf or 10-12 minutes for rolls. You can check for doneness by tapping the top of the bread; it should sound hollow.
  7. Cool and Serve:
    • Once the bread is golden brown and cooked through, remove it from the air fryer.
    • Let it cool on a wire rack for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
