Sure! Here’s a simple recipe for Garlic Steak & Potato Foil Packets:

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb (450g) steak (sirloin, ribeye, or your choice), cut into chunks
  • 4 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Heavy-duty aluminum foil

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat or preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the minced garlic, olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, dried thyme, dried rosemary, salt, and pepper.
  3. Lay out four large pieces of heavy-duty aluminum foil, about 12 inches (30cm) square each.
  4. Divide the sliced potatoes among the foil pieces, placing them in the center.
  5. Top each pile of potatoes with slices of onion.
  6. Place the steak chunks on top of the potatoes and onions.
  7. Drizzle the garlic-olive oil mixture evenly over each foil packet, making sure the steak, potatoes, and onions are coated well.
  8. Fold the foil over the steak and potatoes, sealing tightly to form packets.
  9. Grill the foil packets over medium-high heat for about 10-12 minutes per side, or until the steak is cooked to your desired doneness and the potatoes are tender. Alternatively, you can bake the packets in the oven for 25-30 minutes.
  10. Carefully open the foil packets (watch out for steam) and garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
