Here’s a simple recipe for Garlic Shrimp Pasta Bake:

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound (450g) shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 10 ounces (300g) pasta (penne, rigatoni, or any shape you prefer)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) olive oil
  • 1 cup (240ml) heavy cream
  • 1 cup (240ml) chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1/2 cup (50g) grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup (100g) shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until it’s al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
  4. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until they turn pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, pour in the heavy cream and chicken or vegetable broth. Bring the mixture to a simmer.
  6. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until it’s melted and the sauce has thickened slightly.
  7. Add the cooked pasta, cooked shrimp, dried basil, and salt and pepper to taste. Mix everything together until the pasta and shrimp are evenly coated with the sauce.
  8. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  10. Once done, remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
