  • 1 teaspoon of lime zest (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon of orange zest (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Fruit:
    • Wash all the fruits thoroughly.
    • Slice and chop the fruits as required and place them in a large mixing bowl. Make sure they are cut into bite-sized pieces for easy serving.
  2. Make the Dressing:
    • In a separate small bowl, combine the honey, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and optional lime and orange zest. Mix well until the honey is fully incorporated into the citrus juices.
  3. Combine and Toss:
    • Pour the dressing over the prepared fruits in the mixing bowl.
  4. Gently Toss:
    • Use a spatula or large spoon to gently toss the fruits and dressing together. Make sure all the fruits are coated evenly with the dressing.
  5. Chill and Serve:
    • Cover the fruit salad with plastic wrap or a lid and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving. Chilling allows the flavors to meld together.
  6. Serve:
    • Before serving, give the fruit salad one final gentle toss.
    • Serve in individual bowls or on a platter.

Optional Additions and Variations:

  • You can add other fruits like kiwi, mango, or melon, depending on your preferences and what’s in season.
  • Add a handful of chopped fresh mint leaves for extra flavor.
  • For a creamier version, you can add a dollop of Greek yogurt or whipped cream.
  • Sprinkle some chopped nuts (such as almonds or walnuts) or coconut flakes on top for added texture.
