Here’s a delicious Florida Shrimp Pie recipe—full of creamy, cheesy goodness with a hint of Southern charm and coastal flavor!

Florida Shrimp Pie

🧺 Ingredients:

  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust (store-bought or homemade)

  • 1 lb small cooked shrimp, peeled & deveined (chopped if large)

  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise

  • 1/2 cup sour cream

  • 1/4 cup diced green onions

  • 1/4 cup chopped celery

  • 1/4 cup diced red bell pepper

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1/2 cup crushed Ritz crackers or breadcrumbs (optional topping)

  • 1 tbsp butter, melted (for topping)

🔪 Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Prepare the crust: Place the unbaked pie crust in a pie dish and prick the bottom with a fork. Bake for 8 minutes. Set aside to cool slightly.

  3. Make the filling:
In a large bowl, combine shrimp, cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, green onions, celery, bell pepper, eggs, and all seasonings (Old Bay, garlic powder, salt, and pepper). Mix until well combined.

  4. Pour filling into the prepared crust and spread evenly.

  5. Optional topping: Mix crushed Ritz crackers or breadcrumbs with melted butter. Sprinkle over the top of the pie.

  6. Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is golden.

  7. Cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
