Easy Smoked Gouda Pimento Cheese

Certainly! Here’s a simple recipe for Smoked Gouda Pimento Cheese:

Ingredients:

  • 8 ounces smoked Gouda cheese, shredded
  • 8 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup diced pimentos, drained
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded smoked Gouda and cheddar cheeses.
  2. Add mayonnaise, diced pimentos, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika to the bowl.
  3. Mix all the ingredients until well combined. You can use a spoon or spatula for this.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Remember that smoked Gouda and sharp cheddar are already salty, so go easy on the salt at first and adjust as needed.
  5. Once everything is thoroughly mixed and seasoned to your liking, transfer the Smoked Gouda Pimento Cheese to a serving dish.
  6. You can serve it immediately, but for the best flavor, cover and refrigerate for at least an hour to allow the flavors to meld together.
  7. Serve with crackers, sliced baguette, or use as a spread for sandwiches.
