CUMIN CHEESE BREAD

Sure! Here’s a simple recipe for cumin cheese bread:

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your favorite cheese)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons honey (optional)
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash, optional)
  • Extra shredded cheese and cumin seeds for topping (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and ground cumin.
  3. Stir in the shredded cheese until it’s evenly distributed throughout the flour mixture.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix together the milk, melted butter, and honey (if using).
  5. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; the batter should be lumpy.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread it out evenly.
  7. If desired, brush the top of the batter with beaten egg and sprinkle with extra shredded cheese and cumin seeds for extra flavor and decoration.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
  10. Once cooled, slice and serve your delicious cumin cheese bread! Enjoy it warm or at room temperature.
