Sure, here’s a simple recipe for Crockpot Honey Garlic Chicken:

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, mix together honey, soy sauce, ketchup, minced garlic, olive oil, oregano, basil, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and pepper.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot and pour the honey garlic sauce over them, making sure they are evenly coated.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or on high for 2-3 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender. Cooking times may vary depending on your crockpot.
  4. Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the crockpot and shred it using two forks. Return the shredded chicken to the crockpot and stir to coat it with the sauce.
  5. In a small bowl, mix together the cornstarch and water to make a slurry. Stir the slurry into the sauce in the crockpot to thicken it. Cook for an additional 30 minutes on low to allow the sauce to thicken.
  6. Serve the honey garlic chicken over cooked rice or noodles, garnished with sesame seeds and chopped green onions if desired. Enjoy your delicious and easy crockpot honey garlic chicken!
