Crockpot Angel Chicken is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that’s perfect for busy days. Here’s a basic recipe for Crockpot Angel Chicken:

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 packet (0.7 oz) Italian salad dressing mix
  • 1 can (10.75 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine or chicken broth
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • Angel hair pasta or rice, cooked (for serving)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish, optional)

Instructions:

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter. Stir in the Italian salad dressing mix until well combined.
  3. Pour the butter and seasoning mixture over the chicken in the crockpot.
  4. In the same bowl used for the butter mixture, combine the cream of mushroom soup and white wine (or chicken broth). Pour this mixture over the chicken.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
  6. About 30 minutes before serving, shred the chicken using two forks and return it to the crockpot.
  7. Stir in the softened cream cheese until it’s fully incorporated into the sauce.
  8. Continue cooking for an additional 30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens slightly.
  9. Serve the angel chicken over cooked angel hair pasta or rice.
  10. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired.

Enjoy your Crockpot Angel Chicken! Feel free to adjust the seasonings or add additional vegetables to suit your taste.
