Crispy Nacho Egg Rolls

Here’s a Crispy Nacho Egg Rolls recipe that combines all the bold flavors of loaded nachos with the crunch of a deep-fried egg roll. Perfect for game day, parties, or whenever you’re craving something cheesy and satisfying!


🌮 Crispy Nacho Egg Rolls

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef or ground turkey

  • 1 packet taco seasoning

  • ½ cup water

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • ½ cup nacho cheese sauce (optional for extra gooeyness)

  • 1/3 cup canned black beans, rinsed

  • 1/3 cup diced tomatoes (or drained Rotel)

  • ¼ cup chopped green onions

  • ¼ cup pickled jalapeños (optional)

  • 12 egg roll wrappers

  • Oil for frying (vegetable or canola)

For serving:

  • Sour cream, guacamole, salsa, or more nacho cheese


🔥 Instructions:

  1. Cook the Filling:
    In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat. Add taco seasoning and water, and simmer for 5 minutes until thickened.

  2. Mix it Up:
    Remove from heat. Stir in shredded cheese, nacho cheese (if using), black beans, tomatoes, green onions, and jalapeños.

  3. Assemble the Egg Rolls:

    • Place a wrapper in a diamond shape.

    • Add 2–3 tablespoons of filling to the center.

    • Fold the bottom point over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll tightly.

    • Use a dab of water to seal the tip.

  4. Fry ‘em Crispy:
    Heat oil (about 350°F / 175°C) in a deep pan. Fry egg rolls 2–3 at a time for 3–4 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels.

  5. Serve:
    Serve hot with dipping sauces of your choice.
