CRISPY HASHBROWN SAUSAGE BITES

Certainly! Here’s a simple recipe for crispy hashbrown sausage bites:

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups frozen shredded hash browns
  • 1 cup cooked and crumbled sausage (you can use pork, chicken, or turkey sausage)
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking oil spray

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking oil spray.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the frozen hash browns, crumbled sausage, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped onion, all-purpose flour, beaten egg, salt, and pepper. Mix well until everything is evenly combined.
  3. Take about a tablespoon of the mixture and shape it into small, bite-sized balls or patties. Place them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each one.
  4. Lightly spray the tops of the hashbrown sausage bites with cooking oil spray. This will help them get crispy in the oven.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the bites are golden brown and crispy on the outside.
  6. Once done, remove from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving.
