Certainly! Here’s a simple recipe for crispy chicken wraps:

Ingredients:

For the crispy chicken:

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil for frying

For the wraps:

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Ranch dressing or your favorite sauce for drizzling

Instructions:

Preparing the Chicken:

  1. Preheat your frying oil in a deep skillet or frying pan to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Meanwhile, prepare the chicken breasts by slicing them into thin strips or bite-sized pieces.
  3. In three separate bowls, place the flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Coat each piece of chicken first in the flour, then dip it into the beaten eggs, and finally coat it evenly with the breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Once all the chicken pieces are coated, carefully place them in the preheated oil, cooking in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding the pan.
  6. Fry the chicken for about 5-6 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through, flipping halfway through if needed.
  7. Once cooked, transfer the crispy chicken to a plate lined with paper towels to drain any excess oil.

Assembling the Wraps:

  1. Warm the flour tortillas in a skillet or microwave until they are pliable.
  2. Lay out each tortilla and evenly distribute the shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheddar cheese, and crispy chicken pieces down the center of each tortilla.
  3. Drizzle with ranch dressing or your preferred sauce.
  4. Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll it up tightly from the bottom to form a wrap.
  5. Repeat with the remaining tortillas and ingredients.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy your crispy chicken wraps!
