CRISPY CHICKEN STRIPS

Certainly! Here’s a simple recipe for crispy chicken strips:Ingredients:

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions:

  1. In a shallow bowl, mix together the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. This will be your coating mixture.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk to create an egg wash.
  3. Dip each chicken strip into the flour mixture, coating it evenly. Shake off any excess.
  4. Next, dip the coated chicken strip into the egg wash, making sure it is well-covered.
  5. Dip the chicken strip back into the flour mixture, ensuring it is fully coated. Repeat this process for all the chicken strips.
  6. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan or deep fryer to 350-375°F (175-190°C).
  7. Carefully place the coated chicken strips into the hot oil, a few at a time, and fry until golden brown and crispy. This typically takes about 4-6 minutes.
  8. Once cooked, remove the chicken strips with a slotted spoon and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to absorb excess oil.
  9. Serve the crispy chicken strips with your favorite dipping sauces, such as barbecue sauce, honey mustard, or ranch.
