cookies – 5 minutes, melts in your mouth

Posted on December 31, 2024

For cookies that melt in your mouth and bake in just 5 minutes, you might be looking for a recipe that’s super soft and light, often with a short baking time to prevent over-baking. Here’s a quick and simple recipe for cookies that fit your description:

Melt-in-Your-Mouth 5-Minute Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for a super soft texture)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, cream together the butter and powdered sugar until smooth and fluffy.
  3. Add the vanilla extract and salt, mixing until combined.
  4. Gradually add the flour and baking powder, stirring until the dough comes together. The dough will be soft and slightly sticky.
  5. Use a spoon to drop small spoonfuls of dough (about 1-inch balls) onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart. You can also lightly flatten them with a fork for a slightly different texture.
  6. Bake for 5-6 minutes, or until the edges are just barely golden. The cookies should be soft and delicate, but they’ll firm up as they cool.
  7. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

These cookies will have a light, crumbly texture that just melts away in your mouth! Enjoy!
