Condensed Milk Cake

Posted on April 8, 2025
A Condensed Milk Cake is a simple yet delicious cake that uses sweetened condensed milk to add moisture and sweetness. It’s easy to make, and the condensed milk gives it a rich and soft texture. Here’s a basic recipe for a Condensed Milk Cake:

Ingredients:

  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (room temperature)

  • 1/2 cup milk (regular or any kind of your choice)

  • 3 large eggs

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1/4 tsp baking soda

  • A pinch of salt

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan, or line it with parchment paper.

  2. Mix the wet ingredients:

    • In a bowl, whisk the sweetened condensed milk, butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract together until smooth.

  3. Prepare the dry ingredients:

    • In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients:

    • Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.

  5. Bake the cake:

    • Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and spread it evenly.

    • Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.

  6. Cool and serve:

    • Allow the cake to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then remove it from the pan and let it cool completely on a wire rack.

    • You can dust it with powdered sugar, frost it, or enjoy it as is!

Enjoy your Condensed Milk Cake! It’s a soft, flavorful treat that pairs wonderfully with tea or coffee.
