Chicken with Buttered Noodles

Certainly! Here’s a simple recipe for Chicken with Buttered Noodles:

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
  4. Cook the egg noodles according to the package instructions until they are al dente. Drain and set aside.
  5. Pour the chicken broth into the skillet with the garlic and butter, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Stir in the heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  7. Add the cooked egg noodles to the skillet and toss to coat them in the sauce.
  8. Slice the cooked chicken breasts and arrange them on top of the buttered noodles.
  9. Garnish with chopped parsley and additional grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
  10. Serve hot and enjoy your Chicken with Buttered Noodles!
