    • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
    • If the chicken breasts are thick, slice them horizontally to make them thinner (or use a meat mallet).
    • Season the chicken with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Breading the Chicken:
    • Set up a breading station with three shallow dishes. Place the flour in one, the beaten eggs in another, and mix the breadcrumbs with grated Parmesan in the third.
    • Dredge each chicken breast in flour, then dip it in the egg, and coat it with the breadcrumb mixture.
  3. Fry the Chicken:
    • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
    • Fry the breaded chicken breasts for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
    • Once fried, transfer the chicken breasts to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
  4. Assemble the Chicken Parmesan:
    • In a baking dish, spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom.
    • Place the fried chicken breasts on top of the sauce.
    • Spoon additional marinara sauce over each chicken breast, then sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
  5. Bake:
    • Place the baking dish in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Serve:
    • Garnish with fresh basil or parsley if desired.
    • Serve the Chicken Parmesan with spaghetti, garlic bread, or a side salad for a complete meal.
