Chicken Fritters Recipe

Here’s a simple and delicious recipe for chicken fritters:

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions (optional)
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Chicken Mixture:
    • In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, flour, Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, eggs, mayonnaise, minced garlic, green onions, and parsley.
    • Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
  2. Form the Fritters:
    • Heat a few tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
    • Scoop a heaping tablespoon of the chicken mixture and form it into a small patty with your hands.
    • Carefully place the patty in the hot skillet. Repeat with the remaining mixture, cooking a few fritters at a time, making sure not to overcrowd the skillet.
  3. Cook the Fritters:
    • Cook each fritter for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through. If the fritters brown too quickly, reduce the heat slightly.
  4. Drain and Serve:
    • Remove the cooked fritters from the skillet and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.
    • Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce, such as sour cream, garlic aioli, or sweet chili sauce.

Enjoy your chicken fritters! They make a great appetizer, snack, or even a light meal when paired with a salad.
