Ingredients:

  • 2 chicken breasts (boneless, skinless)
  • 6 slices of bacon
  • 1 can (13.8 oz) refrigerated pizza dough or bread dough
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for brushing the dough)
  • Fresh parsley or chives (optional, for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Chicken and Bacon:
    • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
    • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Once cooked, remove it from the pan, crumble, and set aside.
    • Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. In the same skillet, cook the chicken until golden brown and fully cooked through (about 6-7 minutes per side). Let the chicken rest for a few minutes, then dice it into small bite-sized pieces.
  2. Prepare the Dough:
    • Roll out the pizza dough on a clean surface, stretching it into a large rectangle or square, depending on your bread size. Make sure it is about 1/4 inch thick.
  3. Assemble the Stuffed Bread:
    • In a bowl, mix the diced chicken, crumbled bacon, shredded cheddar cheese, and ranch dressing. Stir well until everything is evenly coated.
    • Spread the chicken and bacon mixture down the center of the dough, leaving about an inch on all sides.
    • Carefully fold the sides of the dough over the filling, then roll it up, pinching the edges together to seal.
  4. Bake the Bread:
    • Place the stuffed bread seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or lightly greased.
    • Brush the top of the dough with olive oil for a golden finish.
    • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and the filling is hot and bubbly.
  5. Serve:
