Here’s a classic cheesecake recipe that’s creamy, smooth, and perfect for any occasion!

βœ… Ingredients:

Crust:

  • 1 Β½ cups graham cracker crumbs (about 10 full crackers)

  • ΒΌ cup granulated sugar

  • Β½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted

Filling:

  • 4 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened (32 oz total)

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 4 large eggs

  • β…” cup sour cream

  • β…” cup heavy cream

1. Prepare the crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 325Β°F (160Β°C).

  2. Mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter in a bowl.

  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.

  4. Bake for 10 minutes. Remove and let cool.

2. Make the filling:

  1. Beat cream cheese with a mixer until smooth.

  2. Add sugar and vanilla; mix well.

  3. Add eggs one at a time, beating slowly and scraping the bowl after each.

  4. Mix in sour cream and heavy cream until smooth.

3. Bake:

  1. Pour filling into the crust.

  2. Tap the pan to remove air bubbles.

  3. Place the pan in a water bath (wrap pan in foil to prevent leaks).

  4. Bake for 50–60 minutes until the center is almost set (slightly jiggly in the middle).

4. Cool:

  1. Turn off the oven and crack the door open.

  2. Let the cheesecake cool in the oven for 1 hour.

  3. Remove and cool to room temperature.

  4. Chill in the refrigerator at least 4 hours or overnight.
