  • Sliced Texas Toast (thick slices of bread)
  • Butter, softened
  • Garlic, minced
  • Shredded cheese (common choices include mozzarella, cheddar, or a blend)
  • Italian seasoning or dried oregano (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven according to the instructions on the Texas Toast packaging.
  2. In a bowl, mix together softened butter and minced garlic. Adjust the ratio to your taste preferences.
  3. Spread a generous amount of the garlic butter mixture onto one side of each slice of Texas Toast.
  4. Sprinkle a generous amount of shredded cheese on top of the garlic buttered side. You can use one type of cheese or a combination for added flavor.
  5. If desired, sprinkle a pinch of Italian seasoning or dried oregano on top for extra flavor.
  6. Place the prepared slices on a baking sheet, buttered side up.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven according to the instructions on the Texas Toast packaging or until the edges are golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
