CHEESY SHRIMP, SAUSAGE & BACON PASTA

Here’s a delicious Cheesy Shrimp, Sausage & Bacon Pasta recipe that’s creamy, smoky, and full of bold flavor:


🧀 CHEESY SHRIMP, SAUSAGE & BACON PASTA

⭐ Ingredients:

  • 8 oz pasta (penne or fettuccine)

  • 6 slices bacon, chopped

  • 8 oz smoked sausage, sliced (andouille or kielbasa work great)

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled & deveined

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

  • 1½ cups heavy cream

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • Salt & pepper, to taste

  • Chopped parsley, for garnish


🔥 Instructions:

  1. Cook the Pasta:

    • Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  2. Cook the Bacon:

    • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook chopped bacon until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels. Leave about 1 tbsp of bacon fat in the pan.

  3. Cook the Sausage:

    • In the same skillet, sauté sliced sausage until browned. Remove and set aside.

  4. Cook the Shrimp:

    • Add butter to the skillet. Season shrimp with salt, pepper, and paprika.

    • Sauté shrimp for 2–3 minutes per side or until pink and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

  5. Make the Sauce:

    • In the same skillet, add garlic and red pepper flakes (if using). Cook 30 seconds.

    • Pour in heavy cream. Bring to a simmer and stir in cheddar and Parmesan until melted and smooth.

  6. Combine Everything:

    • Add cooked pasta, shrimp, sausage, and bacon back into the skillet. Toss to coat evenly in the cheese sauce.

    • Simmer for 1–2 minutes to heat through.

  7. Serve:

    • Garnish with chopped parsley and extra cheese, if desired. Serve hot!
