Cheesy Garlic Sticks

Cheesy Garlic Sticks are a delicious, flavorful appetizer or snack that combines the richness of cheese with the savory taste of garlic. Here’s a simple recipe to make your own:

Ingredients:

  • 1 pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 3-4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano (optional)
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Fresh parsley or basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). If you’re using a pizza stone, make sure it’s in the oven as it heats.
  2. Prepare the Dough: Roll out your pizza dough on a floured surface into a rectangular or square shape, depending on your preference. Aim for about 1/4 inch thickness.
  3. Make Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, combine the melted butter with the minced garlic. Stir well to combine. You can add a pinch of salt or a little oregano if desired for extra flavor.
  4. Brush with Garlic Butter: Using a brush or spoon, spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the rolled-out dough.
  5. Top with Cheese: Sprinkle a generous amount of shredded mozzarella cheese over the dough. Add grated Parmesan cheese on top.
  6. Bake the Sticks: Place the dough in the preheated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Slice and Serve: Once baked, remove the cheesy garlic sticks from the oven. Let them cool for a minute before slicing into strips. You can garnish with fresh parsley or basil for a pop of color.
  8. Serve: Serve hot with marinara sauce or ranch for dipping!
