Cheesy Garlic Bread

Posted on January 23, 2025March 25, 2025 by admin

Here’s a simple and delicious recipe for cheesy garlic bread:

Ingredients:

  • 1 loaf of French bread or Italian bread (you can also use a baguette)
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
  • 4-5 cloves garlic, minced (or more if you love garlic)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano (optional)
  • Salt to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the garlic butter: In a small bowl, mix the softened butter with minced garlic, Parmesan cheese, and salt. If you’re using oregano, add it in as well. Stir everything together until smooth.
  3. Cut the bread: Slice the loaf of bread in half lengthwise (or cut into smaller pieces if you prefer).
  4. Spread the garlic butter: Evenly spread the garlic butter mixture over the cut sides of the bread.
  5. Top with cheese: Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese generously over the buttered bread.
  6. Bake: Place the bread halves on a baking sheet, cut side up. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and golden brown on top.
  7. Optional broil: If you want the top to be extra crispy, you can switch to broil for 1-2 minutes at the end—just keep an eye on it to prevent burning!
  8. Garnish and serve: After baking, sprinkle with fresh parsley for a pop of color. Slice and enjoy your cheesy garlic bread!

This bread pairs wonderfully with pasta, soups, or just as a tasty snack. Enjoy!
