Cheeseburger recipe

Sure! Here’s a classic cheeseburger recipe for you:

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground beef (85% lean recommended)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 slices of cheese (American, cheddar, or your favorite cheese)
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Divide the ground beef into four equal portions and shape them into burger patties. Make sure they are slightly larger than the hamburger buns, as they will shrink a bit during cooking. Season both sides of the patties with salt and pepper.
  3. Once the grill or skillet is hot, place the burger patties on it. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip them over and cook for another 4-5 minutes on the other side. If using a skillet, you may need to cook them in batches depending on the size of your skillet.
  4. During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheese on top of each patty and allow it to melt.
  5. While the patties are cooking, lightly toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster.
  6. Once the cheese is melted and the burgers are cooked to your desired doneness, remove them from the grill or skillet.
  7. Assemble your cheeseburgers by placing each patty on a toasted bun. Add your favorite toppings such as lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise.
  8. Serve your cheeseburgers hot and enjoy!
