Roasting cauliflower in the oven is a delicious way to enhance its flavor and achieve a crispy texture. Here’s a simple recipe for roasted cauliflower:

Ingredients:

  • 1 head of cauliflower, washed and cut into florets
  • 2-3 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: garlic powder, paprika, cumin, or other seasonings of your choice

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Cut the cauliflower into florets, ensuring they are of similar size for even cooking.
  3. In a large bowl, toss the cauliflower florets with olive oil until they are well coated. You can use your hands or a spoon for this.
  4. Season the cauliflower with salt and pepper to taste. You can also add additional seasonings like garlic powder, paprika, or cumin for extra flavor.
  5. Spread the cauliflower in a single layer on a baking sheet. Make sure the florets are not too crowded to allow for even roasting.
  6. Roast in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the cauliflower is golden brown and crispy on the edges. You can toss the cauliflower halfway through the cooking time for more even browning.
  7. Remove from the oven and serve immediately. Enjoy your roasted cauliflower as a side dish or a tasty snack!

Feel free to customize the seasoning to suit your preferences. You can also experiment with adding grated Parmesan cheese or a squeeze of lemon juice for added flavor.
